MEET THE FOUNDER & Director
Hey, I'm Mandi!
I started The Coffeehouse Writer back in 2017, to build a writing community after students who had completed a course with me still wanted to meet up.
The Coffeehouse Writer's Group has been meeting monthly in Beverley since then.
As well as the group, we have an online forum for writers
I organise many live events including our Page to Stage event, where new playwrights use a 15 minute short script to demonstrate their skills, and also use the produced piece as research and development for future larger projects.
I'm just completing my PhD in Transmedia, Scriptwriting and Gerontology. If you are intereted in consultancy, please reach out.
I write screenplays (TV and Film), stage plays and novels.
